2025 Season Highlights

The club had an outstanding year in 2025, fielding 19 teams, four of those in competitive divisions, while welcoming a total of 216 players from Prep to Year 12. This strong involvement not only demonstrated the commitment and support of long-term players but also helped attract new players to foster ongoing growth within the Pacific FC community. This season, more youth volunteers stepped up to take on roles within the canteen during home games. At the same time, the club successfully navigated challenges posed by wet weather and field limitations due to ongoing construction projects, ensuring the season ran smoothly despite these obstacles.

One of the season’s major highlights was the U12/13 Seahorses, who not only secured the Premiership but went on to claim victory in the Championship Grand Final, marking a memorable campaign for the team.

The U13 Sharks also delivered commendable performances, finishing 2nd on the ladder after a hard-fought season. Their commanding win in the Preliminary Final was rewarded with a well-earnt place in the Grand Final where they finished as Runner’s Up. Congratulations to coach Brock Birch who spent many years playing for the club as a junior.

Meanwhile, the U16/17 Barracudas delivered a consistently high standard of play, securing 2nd place on the 10-team fixtures ladder. Their efforts saw them progress to the Semi and Preliminary Finals, and they ultimately finished 3rd overall after the two close Championship matches. Congratulations to our three Year 12 players – Josh, Tyler and Liam on their mentorship throughout the season.

2025 COMMITTEE, VOLUNTEERS and CLUB SUPPORT

This season would not have been possible without the dedicated efforts of volunteers. Special thanks go to our canteen coordinators, Lucie and Amelie B, whose hard work ensured that the canteen ran efficiently during home games and carnivals. Their unique contributions were invaluable to the club’s operations. Appreciation is also extended to the many players and families who assisted with field setup, canteen duties, and pack up throughout the season. The success of Pacific FC in 2025 was truly a community effort.

We wish to acknowledge the Head of Junior Sport, Mr Darren H, whose support and commitment has been invaluable this season. We extend our gratitude to Mark A and the College’s maintenance and grounds crew, whose ongoing efforts ensured the fields remained in excellent condition throughout the season, despite the weather. We appreciated the parents, grandparents, and friends who attended matches and enthusiastically supported the teams from the sidelines each week. Their positivity created a wonderful atmosphere for all involved.

The outstanding success of 2025 is a testament to the dedication and commitment shown by our club members. Every achievement this year reflects the hard work and passion of those who make up our sporting community. A wholehearted thank you to everyone involved. Your contributions have made this season memorable and successful.
