About Pacific FC
Pacific FC is a not-for-profit soccer club affiliated with the Sunshine Coast Churches Soccer Association (SCCSA). Formed in 2001, the club has always been run by a succession of unpaid parent volunteers, who offer their time as coaches and managers, as well as help in many other vital roles. In 2018, Pacific FC changed its name from Pacific Soccer and updated the club strip to move in line with other clubs.
Pacific FC offers affordable soccer in a friendly fun environment
We cater for both boys and girls aged 5 and older and have teams from U6 to U16 age groups
Please remember that your club is run entirely by volunteers who value the importance of sport for all children; your input no matter how big or small is a valuable asset, and we can never have enough volunteers. Let your committee know how you can assist your club
It’s important children learn comradeship & commitment so let the coach know if they are not available for a game
Children are the responsibility of their parents at all times
Under SCCSA rules no dogs are permitted at grounds during matches or training
Smoking is not permitted on school grounds, smoke-free venues, or near children’s playing fields
Alcohol is not permitted at grounds at any time
The Pacific FC Canteen provides the club with a valuable source of income. All families are expected to help out in the canteen for a minimum of 2 hours during the season.
Coaching courses are an excellent way for you to update your skills and are run by the association for the further advancement of our young players; you are most welcome to attend these courses. All SCCSA clubs are on the Sunshine Coast ranging from Noosa to Caloundra and we the Range and Nambour with over 3700 junior players
Message from the President
Welcome to Pacific FC, where you and your family will discover friendships, fun, and fitness during the 2020 season.
While my dedicated team of volunteers looks after the technical details needed to manage the day-to-day stuff for the club, it’s parents and friends of the players, who are at the core of the club.
This season, on every second Tuesday evening of the month, we’ll meet for a casual club get-together over drinks and nibbles to listen to your ideas, suggestions and take direction from parents and friends of players on how to improve and support the club. I’d love to see you at the first gathering at 6.30 pm on the 11th of February, Room L13/14 at Pacific Lutheran College.
I hope you’ll consider supporting your player throughout the season by generously donating an hour or so each week towards nurturing your team and club. You’ll be well supported and rewarded with happy kids enjoying this great game.
Every team needs a manager and a coach before the team can begin to participate in the season. Look online regularly here to find out how easy it is to get not only the best seat at the game – but a team full of very happy kids running up to you every Saturday. We’ll give you the support, training, and tips to make it as stress-free as we can.
Keep up with all our upcoming events by liking our Facebook page Pacific Soccer FC too.
I look forward to meeting you all in 2020 – let’s talk soon.
Rita Williams – President
